Celebrities are notoriously daring with their hair, which is great for us -- we get constant style inspiration! We can see what works and what doesn’t, and then adapt it for our own. Spring is the perfect time to try something new with your locks (I know I always get the itch to update my look!), so I’m sharing this awesome list I stumbled upon at StyleCaster of my favorite celebrity dos of the season.

Ashlee Simpson’s Short Shear
Ashlee Simpson's short crop has given a whole new meaning to the term "mom cut." We wish our moms were this cool. Keep the look edgy by asking for blunt layers. Anything blended or feathered will start to poof…something you don’t want in this look!

Emma Watson’s Crop
Were you one of the adventurous ladies who went and chopped all their hair off as soon as they noticed the pixie trend? Unless you loved it (yay for you!), chances are, your hair is starting to grow in like Emma Watson's. This slicked-back style is a great option for those who need a way to style their hair this spring.

Ali Larter’s Bouncy Bob
Ali Larter's piecey cut is our own spring hair-spiration. If you have naturally wavy hair, this cut should be your spring must-have…you won’t even have to touch your blow dryer! Simply scrunch your hair with a curl enhancer after your shower and let it air dry. It couldn’t be better for Spring and Summer.

Rose Byrne’s Blunt Bob
For ladies with thick hair, this is the perfect cut for you if you want to try out the bob look. Blunt bangs with a blunt chop, Rose’s haircut not only looks fashion-forward, but healthy too! To style this sleek look, dry your hair with a round brush and finish with your straightener. Add shine with a finishing spray.

Elizabeth Olsen’s In-Between Beachy Bombshell
If you are in the process of growing out your hair, beachy waves like Elizabeth Olsen's are the best way to give your hair a polished, styled look when the ends may not be too healthy.

Julianna Hough’s Healthy Crop
Spring is the perfect time for you to chop off any dead ends for a shorter, more manageable cut. Julianna Hough's shoulder length cut is a great look to try this season! You’ll still be able to style it anyway you want, but you’ll look lighter and healthier for sure.
Jessica Alba’s Side-Sweep
Jessica's layered-curls are the perfect look to rock for any special occasion this spring. The side-part gives it an elegant, yet relaxed, look. To get these relaxed waves, use your straightener to create slight “bends” in the ends of your locks. You’ll get volume without creating full-out curls.

Olivia Palermo’s Straight Cut
If you are lucky enough to have thick hair like Olivia Palermo, we recommend giving it a straight-cut this spring. By eliminating the layers you can make your hair look even thicker and healthier. Just don't go too short!

Leighton Meester’s Bangs
Leighton Meester's eyebrow-grazing bangs are a perfect way to instantly change any winter beauty look and make it spring ready! Ask your stylist for bangs that hit your eyebrows and frame your face (meaning they’re longer at the sides).

Solange Knowles’ Controlled Curls
Solange Knowles' curly fro is a great way to round out her long face. The key to keeping these curls under control and sans-frizz is to keep your locks moisturized!

Ashley Greene’s Long Locks
If you have long, layered hair like Ashley Greene, don't be afraid to show it off! The best way to rock this fashion-forward look is by flat ironing your hair pin straight with a simple center part. Just be wary of humidity!
