We all have our own little beauty secrets but here are 12 weird but awesome beauty secrets that actually work!

Bounce Dryer Sheets  – Tames Frizzy Hair on the Fly

The easiest way to always make sure to tame fly-aways and frizz while also making your hair smell delicious is Bounce Dryer Sheets – simply run one through your hair in the morning then store it in your purse for later and you will have frizz free hair all day long!

PAM Spray (non scented) – Makes Your Skin Look Dewey but not Greasy

I cannot stress enough that you need the non-flavored/scented kind or else you will end up smelling like a roasted Turkey – but after a good tan and shower, just spray a light layer on your hot bod and your skin will look dewy and shiny but not greasy. The other effect PAM tends to have it to help define your muscles so the more muscular you are the leaner and more defined you will look.

Preparation H – De-puffs Puffy Eyes

Use the cream under your eyes for puffiness – Do not use the oily one, because the oily one for some reason makes the under eye bags look worse.

* Raw potato slices and green tea bags also work well for this.

Baking Soda  – De-streaks Tanner

If you find yourself streaking (not glowing) after applying self-tanner, put some baking soda on a loofah, and scrub away the stripes.

* You can also use baking soda with a few drops of lemon, mix it up and make a paste out of it, put it on the pimple – pimple zapped! Of course Visine and Toothpaste always work too!

Cream Rinse – Stops Razor Burn

Shaving with conditioner softens the hair so it’s easier to shave off and makes legs feel amazingly silky.

Freezer – Makes Eyeliner Go On Smooth

If the tip of your eyeliner pencil crumbles and smears on your lids, store the liner in the freezer for 15 minutes before use so the tip is firm and goes across your skin smoothly.

* Storing nail polish in the fridge is another great secret to keeping polish smooth when applied. Frosted nail polish will not separate. However, if it has hardened or is gummy, place the bottle in a pan of boiling water. The polish will be like new.

Vinegar – Makes Hair Shiny

Mix one part vinegar with four parts carbonated water, and soak dry hair. Leave on for 15 minutes before you shampoo to lock in shine and combat dullness.

Petroleum Jelly – Makes Lashes Lusterous

An easy way to draw attention to your eyes without putting on a pile of makeup is to comb petroleum jelly lightly through the tips of eyelashes to get a sexy, subtle sparkle.

* Brush a little petroleum jelly through your brows with a toothbrush or eyebrow comb and you can define and hold yoru brows in place.

Powder – Makes mascara Go On Better

Powder eyelids before applying any eye makeup. It creates a base for eyeliner or eye shadow and can sometimes be worn with nothing else for a little bit of color. It also seems to somehow prime eyelashes for mascara.

Fabric Softener – Best Leave In Conditioner

It’s very strong, so be sure to dilute it. Suggestions: 1 cup water, 1/2 cup fabric softener.

Aspirin  – Fixes Dandruff

To help relieve dandruff, add 30 plain aspirin to a full bottle of your regular shampoo. Apply and rinse as usual.

Pepto Bismal  – Makes a Great Facial

Rubbing Pepto-Bismal on your skin is a better facial than peel off masks. Seriously – it can make your skin feel and look fantastic.

Everything else seem fine and I know they work but Preparation H is actually meant to be used for what it was created for(to relieve the rectal itch and anal pain caused by hemorrhoids ). I know models use this cream for quick fixes but your eyes are sensitive and our the thinnest layer of skin on your face. It might be alright once and a while but make sure you don't make it a regular use out of it. Personally I'd stick with the green tea bags.
you know you said that green tea bags helps get rid of puffy eyes, do the tea bags have to be hot or wet? :) xx

baking soda & vinegar are the only things you need for your hair & exfoliating, not all this nasty junk. all i use are baking soda (~ 4tbsp & water, premixed to a sludge) on my scalp, massage in, rinse; 2 tbsp vinegar to 12 oz water poured and gently massaged into length of hair (not scalp, encourages grease production), rinse, cold water blast on all. hair barely smells like vinegar when wet, not at all when dry. i shower no less than every other day & use dr. bronners castille soap (vegan, no animal products!), and when i take my weekly bath to help with exfoliating my feet & such, i pour 1/2c baking soda into the plain bathwater; it makes your skin really soft, aids in shaving, & helps exfoliate as well. :) also, mixing just a touch of baking soda with a nourishing soap is a great everyday face & hand exfoliant! only need a pinch or two. and i also hear oil washes are fabulous! look t hem up! all CHEAPER than buying this gunk listed. my bathroom cleaner is natural & only costs me .75 cents to make per windex size bottle. too many chemicals. isn't our society saturated enough with man-made crud? c'mon.
Does the pepto have to be actual pepto or can it be the generic brand?
Here's another one: a USED dryer sheet will make deodorant stains go away! Just rub the dryer sheet over the stain, and poof, gone!
Wow - how cool this is such a popular post! Thanks for all the comments and views guys! This was such a fun post to write. I have a million other really fun beauty tricks I should probably write up - if you have ones of your own - let me know and i will include them in my next post and attribute them to you.

Bounce dryer sheets are a brand of dryer sheets. You know, the ones you put in the dryer to keep your clothes soft and prevents static electricity from building in your clothes in the dryer.
