Trying to catch the eye of someone special tonight? Or maybe you just want to play up your already seductive peepers. Whatever the reason, here are 5 quick ways to get attention-grabbing eyes.

Stencil Your Brows

Before tweezing, use a beige pencil to stencil over the hairs you actually want to keep. Having them heavily drawn on will allow you to really see the shape and size to make sure it’s right before you start tweezing. This will take out some of the guesswork and prevent over-plucking. When you’re finished, just naturally stencil in brows if needed. A well-defined brow keeps the focus on your eyes and balances out any dramatic eye makeup.

Lash Out

Get your longest lashes ever by using mascara this way. Start by taking the tip of the wand and applying formula directly to the ends of your lashes in an upwards direction. Then, wait several seconds, and continue to apply mascara as close as possible to the base of the lashes using quick right-to-left strokes. The process coats the lashes as much as possible without getting clumpy.

Double the Color

Use two different eye shadow shades from the same color family to create instant dimension on your lids. Sticking with say, the purple family, use a dark plum in the crease and a lighter shade on the lid, and your eyes will appear instantly bigger.

Get the Blues

Ditch the basic black and brown eyeliners and finally give blue liner a chance. The cool tone causes your whites to appear brighter and bigger.

Curl It On Up

Don’t give yourself that crimped lash look. When curling your lashes, start at the very root of your lash and gently pulse the curler shut three times. Then, move the curler half way up the length of your eye lashes and repeat. The end look will be natural, lush lashes.
