Since beginning my work here at GirlsGuideTo, you could say that I’ve sort of begun a relationship with Fuschia. It’s pretty much what I see all day, every day. And I had always been a pink sort of girl – this just cemented my love for all things magenta (and the more neon, the better).

So thanks to my job, and my late night Pinterest obsession, I have become obsessed with hot pink lipstick. It's an instant face brightener and it's just so girly and summery and fun. So while this winter and spring saw the rise of the ruby red pout, I think the transition from spring into summer will see this bright makeup look becoming popular.

Hot pink lips add a splash of fresh and fabulous color and pizzazz to a basic outfit! Paired with neons, florals and prints, it adds that little extra something to your basic neutrals. Simple face makeup with mascara-heavy lashes really makes this a statement. Pink makes everything brighter no matter the occasion!
