Feeling last night’s fun a little too much this morning? Hangovers are obviously the least fun part of a night out on the town, or at least equal to drunk dialing your ex. I found these great infographics to help you start feeling back to your old self so you can enjoy this extra 24 hours of freedom! First. Here’s The Biology of a Hangover (because you really wanted to know the price you pay for a crazy night):

In every culture with access to alcohol, myths abound about how to cure a hangover. In Ireland it used to be said you should bury your friend up to his neck in wet sand to help him through his hangover. A Haitian myth has it that turning the cork of the hangover-causing-bottle into a voodoo doll and sticking 13 pins in it will keep the hangover at bay. Other strange remedies from around the globe include breathing in the smoke from a coal fire and rubbing limes on your arms. We won't spend any time debunking why rubbing fruit on your body isn't going to cure a hangover, but we will look at the most common remedy claims.

Don’t some of those sound disgusting? Blech. All I know is, a bunch of water a big breakfast (ok, and maybe a few painkillers) always set me right again. To brunch we go!

What are your tricks to curing a hangover? Share in the comments!

In South Africa we have a fizza soda called Sparletta Cream Soda (its green, sugary but not sickly sweet like the cream soda in Ireland/UK and delicious) and its nickname is...Cream Sober..this with a good breakfast of eggs, bacon, etc will get you sorted. Now that I live in Ireland and that particular brand of cream soda isnt readily available, iv found lucuzade (thinks its similiar to gatorade in the US) works wonders.

But what iv also found is that as much as you want to spend the day hibernating in the dark confines of your bed, a shower and a brisk walk outside (30mins) is essential.
