Let’s face it, during the summer, you’re much more likely to read Lauren Conrad’s new book than brush up on The Great Gatsby or start Anna Karenina. Not that we’re not all intelligent creatures…it’s just…when you’re on the beach, light reading is much more fun. Paired with fruity frozen drinks, and easy (ok, maybe trashy) reads are perfect. Even though I will admit to picking them and laughing along, I will also say that they are pretty much ridiculous, chock full of silly life tips on love, career, and you know, false eyelashes.
