By now you've probably noticed that this season isn't about blending in or being subtle. This next trend takes standing out to new heights. I'm talking about shine. As in shiny pants. Shiny shoes. Shiny handbags. Be careful though, shine does not equal patent leather. Think silver and gold.

Now with some loud trends, its better to keep the rest of your look simple and understated. That's not the case with this one. Shine looks great with baroque and embellished, especially since both these trends almost always incorporate silver and gold.
