Ever feel like the world is out to get you? We all have those days where we just want to scream and rip out our own hair and give up on whatever project or another we should be doing, what assignment we should be working on, or some meeting or another that we may not be prepared for. Below are some quick tips that you may find helpful to cool down, relax, and beat stress long enough to complete what you need to.

Write a List:

That's right, sometimes when you organize the things you need to do in a list, you may feel less overwhelmed. Try not to do long lengthy quotes, and simply try your best to do quick little bullets of the main things you need to finish.

Organize Your Time:

Set a schedule to your list, and stick to it. Stress many times is just another form of procrastination, it's a disability to complete things due to fustration or anxiety rather than laziness or a lack of ambition. Stick to your time schedule; but don't forget to throw in your own time that you valuably need.

Relax:

Do what you do best, whether it is take a small nap, write, take photographs, read a chapter in a novel, or shop for an hour. Whatever you do just be sure that you let yourself unwind, forget about your troubles and let free. You may go for a walk, watch the sunrise, treat yourself to a baked good you may normally not eat, or a nice cup of tea or coffee while listening to your favorite songs. So relax, it doesn't matter what you do... just do it.

I hope this helped you, if you have any suggestions or references feel free to comment. Just remember, lighten up a bit, even when the world seems out to get you; you're just you, and all you can do is your best. So relax. unwind, and accomplish your tasks.

I always rely on meditation or something along those lines. It actually relaxes your body and clears your mind. Invest in something like meditation balls....my friend bought me a pair on the weekend and last night I used them and got through five weeks of work that I had been putting off.

Working out is a good idea too :)

I so agree with you! Working out really does help out sooo much! It's just like eatting chocolate but only better as your working your mind and body.
Yeah if only it was that easy to to switch off! Good tips though!

Another great tip for those who are overly stressed, work out!! It works I'm serious it works with you in two ways! As you work out you are keeping your body healthy physically and mentally. Working out keeps your mind off the topics at hand for a while then you start to organize everything in your head. By the time you are done you've burned lots of calories and have destressed your self a ton! Find a 24/7 place and use it to your advantage! I use them all the time, and I don't stress out too much! Another thing for those big tasks, break it down into smaller managable tasks. Take your time and don't worry so much everything will fall into place eventually!
