Did you oversleep again and have to rush to make it to class? Or are you expecting a special visitor with just a few minutes to spare? After you take care of the hygiene essentials, follow our tips to get fabulous in a flash.
Ditch the Brushes
Use cream formulas of your favorite products so you can apply them quickly with your fingers. Most powder formulas are going to require brushes, leaving you digging through your makeup container trying to find the right one. If you have cream formulas, you can swipe on that blush in just seconds and look great.
Makeup that Multitasks
There has been a sudden surge on the market lately of makeup products that multitask. Instead of plain old foundation, use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream, which have the added benefits of ingredients to keep your skin looking better even after you remove them. Even better, pick one that contains SPF.
Swipe it On
Use products that just need a sweep or swipe. I’m talking about lip gloss over lipstick and a shimmery shadow cream instead of a heavy or bright shadow that requires concentration and technique to apply. When you choose mascara, make sure it’s one that you love with just a single application, so you don’t have to waste time layering it on.
Make it Messy
You could just skip eyeliner altogether, but why not just opt for a messy, sexy look? Apply your eyeliner quickly and don’t worry if the line isn’t perfect. Then use the sponge that is on the opposite end of most eyeliner pencils to smudge the eyeliner. You’ll achieve a messy look that draws attention to your peepers in half the time it takes to create that perfect cat eye.
