Instantly Slimming Wardrobe Picks

Some days we need that extra boost of confidence that a great outfit gives us. For those days you want to feel extra sexy just make your wardrobe work for you by picking the most flattering items. You’ll look 5 pounds lighter without even stepping into a gym.
Keep Your Toes Pointed
Slip on a pair of pumps with at least a 2-inch skinny heel. Choose a tapered toe compared to a square-toed style to accentuate your already narrow ankles and calves.
Invest in V’s
Draw attention upwards by slipping on a low cut V-neck tank or top. The V-shape draws the eyes away from the midsection and towards your face. Plus, the upside down arrow shape of skin that shows helps to balance wide hips. Stock up on V-neck styles in all of your tops.
Make it Monochrome
For an ultra-slimming appearance, try a monochromatic look. While it may be easiest to pick an all-black ensemble, don’t be afraid to choose a bright color for your entire outfit. Wearing just one color from top to bottom creates an uninterrupted vertical line, making you appear taller and leaner. Try pairing your favorite colored skinnies with a similar hued top for a very trendy and flattering look.
Work that Pony
Just another reason to love ponytails: they make your face look thinner! Pulling your locks into a high ponytail with a slightly teased crown accentuates your bone structure making it appear thinner.
Denim is a Do
The essential wardrobe staple, denim, can flatter your figure too. Pick simple, unadorned styles in a dark rinse for the most slimming look. Distressed or bleached styles usually draw unwanted attention to hips and thighs causing them to appear thicker.
As mentioned previously, coordinating tones will elongate your appearance. So, during the summer, pair your bare legs with neutral skin-toned heels and when the temperature drops, pair black heels with black opaque tights, for mile-long legs.
So what's the "Perfect Everyday Slimming Outfit?"
For a head-to-toe slimming look, layer a crisp blazer over a V-neck and dark wash jeans and pair with your favorite pointy toe pumps.
