GirlsGuideTo | LOL: Cougar Billboard Turns Heads...Allegedly

You guys, this is hilarious. I can't even go all crazy-feminist over this one because it's just so silly. I mean, look at that billboard! Here's the backstory: The dating website Cougar Life release a photo of a billbaord that they supposedly put up in West Hollywood. It says "CougarLife.com: For Mother F*ckers." Wow. Just wow.

I'm not going to lie, it took me a minute to really get it. If you're like me and are thinking, "what? what does that even mean?" just think about it again. Really separate the words. I'll give you a second.

Apparently there is some speculation that this even exists because the only photos that have surfaced are from Cougar Life and shown with pixelation like you see above. Anyone reading want to confirm this for us? According to the head of "cougar relations," the area of Los Angeles in which the billboard is said to be posted has "more cougars per capita of any other zip code." I'm guess that's a lof of first wives...

Our Verdict: LOL. I mean when you position yourself as, "a dating website for divorcees, single moms or sexy singles 'looking for a young cub'," you gotta have some fun, right? I could totally go all up in arms about how I'm so sick of the whole cougar thing and how that ad is pretty gross, but eh, after the events yesterday, I need a good laugh. So thanks Cougar Life (and of course, Joan Harris for perfectly summing up my reaction in one glorious GIF.)
