I disagree, I love my boyfriend a lot and he loves me too and I asked him to cross the country for me. I asked him to leave his parents, leave his friends and his hometown and come with me to my college's state and go to a college near mine. And he did. And I love him so much still and he loves me too. We are homesick together, but at least we can sleep in the same bed at night. Just because I asked him to make the change does not mean that I don't "love him back", in fact I love him even more, and this is where the quote and I disagree.

I totally agree, but ladies think about what the quote says, "give up anything". We are not talking asking to do something, but to stop doing something (or stop something all together).
There is a limit of course, at the EXTREME sides of the stories where it is understandable for someone to ask the other to give up something.

I do love my love like tht and for four years i have been doing all that he wants me to do... but he asks and i do... when i ask it goes unheard or i get the answer that its not possible right now... I think it shoild be tit for tat.. if i do everything and anything for him without thinking twice... so should he.. :,(

I like the quote, but i do kinda disagree with it. I love my guy b/c I know he will go above and beyond the call of duty 4 me. Most times b4 I even ask, hell i don't even have to ask, he has already anticipated. And he vice versa knows that I have his back and will do anything he asks.
