In college, my friend and I used to make ourselves a signature “specialty” cocktail. I use the terms “signature,” “specialty,” and “cocktail,” loosely here. Essentially we’d combine Bacardi Limon and diet cherry 7 Up. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I still want this drink. It was pretty delicious. And it was pink, which made it the best. Even though I still get a craving for this concoction (which is yet unnamed…lame), I never can let myself make it. I can’t let myself revert to the days of Natty Light and dirty frat houses. So what do I do? This. I make this.
And it’s even better.
I found Grown Up Pink Lemonade about six months ago and I make it all. the. time. It really is the grown up, non-embarrassing version of my college cocktail of choice. It’s easy and it makes a bunch on top of it all! It’s seriously a win-win-win-win-win. I doubt that’s possible, but maybe with a few of these drinks in us, we can figure out a way to make it so.
Cheers!
