Ok, we’ve already given you 21 delicious cocktails everyday for the last few weeks, but hey, what’s another one? It is Thirsty Thursday after all. So even though I am a horrible cook, I really do try. I even will have days when all I do is watch the Food Network for hours, hoping that some of their knowledge will transfer through the TV and I’ll get off the couch a brilliant chef. It hasn’t happened yet. But, there’s one show where I do always feel like I learned something, and that is Sandra Lee’s show Semi-Homemade. That woman really knows how to throw a themed party in 30 minutes! With a fancy tablescape and cocktail too! She may be annoying, but she’s a genius when it comes to using napkin rings and charger plates.
So what I do learn is that sometimes, super easy and partially store-bought food and drinks can be really awesome and save you a bunch a time, stress, and energy. Like the Peach Lemonade Cooler. It is ridiculously easy. You need peaches, lemonade, vodka and a blender. That’s it.
Peach Lemonade Coolers
Ingredients
2 medium sized, ripe peaches, peeled, halved and pitted
1/2 cup lemonade
1 ounce vodka of choice
Directions
Puree the peaches and lemonade in a blender until smooth.
Pour vodka over ice in a rocks glass. Top off with peach-lemonade puree.
*This is also fantastic with champagne or prosecco instead of vodka! Yummy bubbles!
