I really love summer. It’s definitely one of the best seasons. But, uh, it’s a little hot. Like avoid-going-outside-at-all-costs hot. So what are you supposed to do when you want to workout? Your collection of videos gets stale fast, you know? How about trying a circuit workout?

Circuit workouts are quick and challenging. I like to mix strength training, endurance, and a little bit of cardio to keep it interesting. The best part? No equipment is necessary in order to get your heart rate up, but if you have light set dumbbells a little extra challenge never hurt. All you really need are some tennis shoes and a large open space!

At-Home Circuit Workout
Rest 20 seconds in between each exercise and do 3 sets total, resting a full minute in between set.

15 push-ups
15 burpees
1 minute forearm plank
20 scissor jump lunges
15 dolphin pushups
20 frog squats
15 tricep dips (use a chair or coffee table)

1 minute wall sit
1 minute rest

Beginner: Go through once.
Intermediate: Go through twice.
Advanced: Go through three times.
