Are they jeans? Are they leggings? Are there pockets? Do they have zippers? The denim legging aka "jegging" is a must have leg wear this season as it leaves most asking many a question. To the above quandaries the answers go as follows: yes, yes, possibly, and well, sometimes.
Spring. It’s almost here, and I for one, cannot wait. The two pairs of black leggings I have in rotation are both starting to fade from repetitive use. I’m down to one pair of black tights– I think I started off the season with at least four.
At times, staying on trend in the winter can seem as challenging as keeping resolutions to be bikini ready by March and making it to the gym on January 1st, post late night new year's reigning in.
Unless you have been living in a hole for the last six months, you are at least acutely aware that studs are everywhere. Ok, so I have been a fan of studs since like 1997 when I started making semi-regular appearances at rock concerts like the Deftones, Third Eye Blind, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Marilyn Manson (yes, Marilyn Manson).
Does the idea of wearing a white gown to your wedding not seem quite you? Do you want to embrace something extreme and anti-tradition? Would you like to avoid the posed wedding pictures like your parents possess? Why not try trashing your dress; a hip new wedding movement that has brides all over the world destroying their dresses after their wedding.
Last weekend i had the opportunity to attend Vancouver’s One of a Kind Show. I went in pure curiosity and it paid off. I met several amazing designers and tried to resist spending money but I lost that battle. I found numerous designers I felt were worth mentioning here that I thought I would break this down into a 4 part piece.
Are there any other girls out there who are "plus-size", like me? I have to say, it gets rather annoying when you go to a website that you have been told has killer sales, and then find out that it is only for the "normal" sized females. Yeah, I'd love to lose weight. And needless to say, I'm most definitely trying.
We hate to admit it, because we personally feel that clothes shouldn't matter. In a perfect world, a person would be judged at their workplace based solely on the caliber of their work. Unfortunately, that's not how the world works.
Change is good. But it can be difficult. Especially when it wasn't your idea. Like when we find ourselves fresh out of a relationship. Right after a break up we often feel bored, depressed, too fat, too thin, and all around blah, blah, blah.
