I'm getting a perm soon. Any advice on styling or what can go wrong?

Hello ladies. I have THICK, curly, coarse hair and I have straightened it for the better of three years. I know that this wasn't the best thing, but I liked the way it looked. So now, I don't want to straighten my hair anymore and I want to rock my natural hair. The problem is, my hair is super thick, tight curls and I can't do anything with it other than up in pony tail.

I am such a boring dresser! Seriously. Jeans and T-Shirt everyday. I high school it was graphic T-s then it changed to Tees with lame sayings like "get the flock out of here" or a cloud with blue stick figure men falling and more "witty" stuff. Now I just wear skinny jeans, a plain shirt, and a pair of Vans or black Converse. I'm 20 not 12!!!

I have a red strapless prom dress for prom...should I wear a strapless bra or is there some kind of something I can use!

I have naturally rosy cheeks, but I HATE them! They always look blotchy and gross. Is there any home remedies for this? If not, are there any products on the cheaper side that can fix it or at least dull it down? Thank you!
