I am pretty thin (about 103 pounds at just 5'1), but I am still extremely self concious about my weight. I feel like my stomach is too puffy and that I look fat, even though I know I am slightly underweight. I try to deal with this by working out and eating a bit healthier, but I'm starting to wonder if this is more of a self esteem issue than an actual issue with my body.

I get so emotional when I am on my period, and I get the worst cramps, almost to where I feel like vomiting. My roommates understand to stand their guard when I am like this, and so do my girlfriends, but one of my best guy friends does not get that I need my space, especially during this time. I end up freaking out at him and feel so bad later!

I work a full time job at a hospital on second shift and I go to college full time during the day. Despite my busy schedule and crazy workload, I am a relatively happy person. But lately, I have been feeling down for no reason! Why am I feeling this way?

What do you think is the best way to motivate yourself to work out? I have some weight to lose, but every time I start to workout, I make it a few weeks before sort of giving up. I've tried to "fake it till I make it," but it never lasts. I just get burned out. How have you stayed on track to lose weight? Please help!!! It's almost summer and I want to look awesome!!!

My daughter will be 15 in a little over a month and has not yet had her first period. I am wondering if this is still within a normal age range, or if I should see about taking her to see her doctor. I am not sure if genetics has anything to do with it, but I got my first period three days before my 13th birthday.

How do you overcome an eating disorder that you don't have? When I stress, I tend to have little appetite and feel like I don't have enough time to cook a decent meal, or sometimes even go grocery shopping. This year, I have been incredibly stressed with school and work, and generally just trying to support myself.

How can I lose weight? I'm 5'7 I weigh about 120 pounds and I want to lose weight and lose my stomach. What type of diet and exercises should I stick to and please don't say "but you don't need to lose weight."

I'm truly with a great guy, who is supporting me through nursing school and bought me a new car because I drive 80 miles one way to class and my truck left me on the side of the road one time too many. I love him! Truly do and not because he's supporting me, but because he is the one who makes me laugh and smile for no reason.

Does anyone on here meditate? If so, what do you do and how because I would like to start doing it :)

Hi. I have always been kind of tender hearted/sensitive. I don't know why. But I really think it is part of my problem not only with guys but family. I let stupid stuff get to me and don't mean to. How do I fix this??? HELP!
