I NEED. TO LOSE. WEIGHT. I'm 5'7" and weigh in at 169 whoppin pounds. I'm trying to find a motivation to lose weight, but I can't. I am trying to lose weight, but I have a problem getting motivated. I also don't know what the best exercises are for what I am trying to accomplish. I want to get rid of belly fat, but mostly fat on my buttocks, thighs and I want to gain some arm muscle. I kind of want to lose some of this weight before my friends wedding in a month. I've been trying to tone my abs, but the exercises I'm doing don't seem to be working. I've cut out foods with high fructose corn syrup, except soda, but I don't have it very often. I also work out a few times a week. Does anyone have any suggestions on new exercises, or maybe can give me ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

I have been striving for months to tone up my body, walking,running, leg/arm weights and even the PowerPlate but my main problem area is my stomach. I always have a constant bump, even though I can pull in my stomach muscles in much further, what I don't understand is how can I be doing Sit-Ups, Crunches and Plank positions to fatten my stomach, but to no effect after so long?

I would like to find motivation again to work out. I would like to start running because I will be going on vacation to Aruba in a few weeks. I do not need to lose weight but I would like to tone my legs and butt. Could anyone give me any advice. I am also a college student as well, and am very busy with work and finals coming up pretty soon.
