Question
What do you do when you really like someone but is too afraid of rejection? I like this guy but I haven't completely moved on from my last 'relationship' I guess you would call it.
I've got a feeling that he may like me back. But, I'm too shy and scared about what may or may not happen. I've talked to him many times before. Like, you know? A casual talk. But, I have no idea why I can't even look at him without thinking 'Oh, no, he does not like me back. He just thinks I'm weird (in a bad way) and that I'm going out with my best guyfriend.' The reason why I think he thinks I'm going out with my best guyfriend is because I always hang out with him and walk to our next classes with him. (Most of them are near each others.)
It's not just this guy where I'm all shy and nervous. It's something that has been going on for quite awhile. Maybe, it's my slef esteem, or my personality.
Either way, I just need some advice or suggestions that will help me get over my shyness??

i must admit you love that guy coz i feel like that before in my first love you know the feeling when he is near you feel like freesing its a wonder nervous

I'm shy like you, but I never let that hold me back from just going for it. If the guy is worth it, you'll find it in you to approach him and let him know how you feel. Here's what I do: I make sure that the day I'm going to make the move is the day I look my absolute best. Pamper yourself and wear your cutest outfit. That'll give you the confidence to go for it! remember, the guy is probably just as nervous as you are, perhaps even more nervous if he thinks you're going out with your friend. maybe when you're talking to him, mention your guy friend's girlfriend or something. just relax and be cool, you'll say the right thing. you could suggest the 2 of you grab a coffee or something after class, just something subtle to let him know you're into him. i'm really shy too, but like they said in 'fired up' you've got to risk it to get the biscuit!

i ALWAYS hold back, and i always regret it. I have never been able to come out therefore i have never been in a proper relationship. sad. i know. you have to ask yourself, if they do say know, which i hope they dont, will it be the end of the world, or wil you be able to become friends and move on?
