What do you do when you feel like everything is fallen apart around you? You're trying to keep yourself together but it hurts so much to do it...

I feel like this ALOT so I know how you feel it'll take time and patience things fall apart so better things can be put together.

I'm going through the same thing at the moment. I know what it feels like when you try to build a life but it seems that everything fails and no matter what you do, you just can't make things work in your life. My advise is that just hang on, try to survive through the rough times and have faith that things will eventually become easier and better. I know people say that if you're unhappy with your life you're supposed to work harder to make things better, but sometimes it just doesn't work and the only thing you can do is wait for better times. I wish you lots of courage and strength!

I'm going through that time too...:( !
And the worst part is that no one seems to understand what I'm going through :/ !

Who is more suffering this? Men or women?

Hey, I feel like this all the time. Let it out, is what I say. Write, talk, scream, yell, sing, dance, draw, exercise - do whatever it takes to get it out of you're system. Personally, I find that writing works best for me, but hey, we're all different. So try some of the things I've suggested. I find music helps a lot too :) Just don't do anything you'll regret - I've done that and I can't say I'm proud of it. It doesn't help in the slightest - in fact, it probably makes the problem worse.

Just be patient, everything will piece itself back together :)

(PS. "from: Anonymous, at 2:21pm on: March 2, 2010", your grammar is appalling!)

Personally? Take a deep breath, use the negative emotions as fuel for creativity, and tell myself, as bad as things are, they could always be worse.

I have had times like this in my life, and what gets me through it is knowing that everything will get batter; dwelling NEVER helps any bad situation; it's unhealthy.

It's hard for someone to say take every bad situation and use it as a learning experience, but it's something I think needs to be said sometimes. Things always get better, even if it's not right away, they do get better; and that was pretty much what got me through a lot of really bad times in my life.

Things always get better.

I'm going through this right now. The only thing that can really make the pain go away is time. Until then, spend time doing things for yourself. Watch movies, do yoga, meditate. Do whatever it takes to get you in a good place. Also, what helps me is writing out kind of a self-story of what I want to happen in the end and how you want things to turn out. Sometimes this helps you see things more clearly. Good luck!

Ok that is me now also! I clean when I am in this mood, so at least my house is clean. its not easy, but I think from all the post it is obvious none of us are alone! The harder i try it seems to get worse at times, but it will always get better!

I feel like that a lot. Especially right now. It feels like things are spinning out of control. Normally I try to talk to people I trust about it and see if they have any advice for my specific problem. I also spend more time alone doing things I like, just things to escape. I take a lot of down time, thinking about nothing in particular. I also write in a journal.

If this feeling persists for a while, it could be something else (namely depression). If you need help, you shouldn't be afraid to ask.

Good luck!

I'm using all my negative emotions to create something.. For exemple, when I'm really sad or mad.. or even feel depressed I draw or playing to the piano or even cook :d .. For the moments when I'm really really really mad.. I listen to metal.. Honestly, I hate it, but in these situations it helps me a lot ! : )

I love this advice this is good I feel alot better now as long as I have my friends and my family everything will be good <3

I belive in Karma, yes i might get stick for it but hey. Karma basically says that if you can go through a really bad time then you will be rewarded at the end of it. My cousin died and that seriously tested me. I kept going on despite the fact it hurt and this evening the guy i have liked for way too long now said he liked me back. The feeling cancels out the bad and i'm happy now. Stick it out, you will be okay at the end of it x

I feel like that all the time.. and one thing that helps me is just take a small time out and just breathe... that what i do when I'm not at home. When I"m at home i just go into my room and it automatically relaxes me because i could hang out with me (down time) I leave all my stress at the door once i enter my room. Then once I'm relax things seem to go back into clear perspective.
