How can I get rid of stretch marks on the outer and inner legs? I know they won't go away for good but how can I get them to fade? I'm 17 and I only weigh 137lbs.

Eat lots of fruits and veggies, try to work out a little, and try bio oil, normally used for pregnancy stretch marks.

My best friend and I both have them, she's tall thin and a swimmer, I'm short, curvy and athletic/muscular. Mine really started to show up after I was injured and quit karate for a year. So preventatively, keep exercising. But the only way they can be removed or lightened is with a laser. Anyways, most women have them. We call ours tiger stripes (growl!) and guys think it's really cute.

Hey! if your stretch marks are red, there is still hope for you! i´m 15 and i also have, but they are kinda redish , this means there is still time ti get rid of them! and if they are white try using pure alcohol and glycerine ( ask for help in a pharmacy) in equal parts and put it on your skin, good luck!

Emu oil. It works wonders. You can find it at a feed store... like for farmers and what not. I've had my stretch marks since I can remember and they're gone because of the emu oil. It sounds crazy... But give it a try. (*:

Buy cocoa butter, not a cocoa butter lotion in a tube, but the kind you can buy in a tub. i had stretch marks all over my legs when I was thirteen, and people told me pregnant women used it to get rid of marks. The stretch marks started fading away within a week, so I suggest you try cocoa butter.

i totally agree with you, i use cocoa butter on a stick and my stretch marks are almost gone now! :D

i did nothing and they faded completely :) so i would say do nothing and if you dont like them then cover them up
or try something specifically for stratchmarks, i have seen it for pregnant women who get strachmarks advertised on tv,but i cant remember the name of it,only that it has a line drawing of a pregnant woman on the front

they will fade over time but to speed up the process use a storng moisturiser on them. Ones that have vitamin e in them can help the heelng to so something like bio oil as suggested above.

cocoa butter stick. vitamin e lotion, a gentle fade cream, dermatecin ts stretch mark complex

I remember getting stretch marks in third grade (LOL!) I was swimming alot, and quite confused as to why I was exercising more, and getting them. I couldn't have been more than 100 lbs at the time, probably less. They did make me embarrassed at first, however, I just got used to them. I really like the idea of calling them "tiger stripes" I think that is the cutest thing I have ever heard...
