I am so hung up about my ingrowns on my bikini line any tips?

I agree this is such a problem sometimes those b**gers you just cannot get to it is so depressing having had a brazillian two weeks ago I am so done wiith exfoliating. I would welcome tips too

I get bikini waxes because I have the same problem. I get really bad razor burn so waxing is better for me and lasts longer. I have also tried the creams like Nair and they all work really well. I have never had any problems. You just have to leave it on longer then what the bottle says (I also read it in a mag that it is okay but test an area first, you don't want a chemical burn down there!)

When I do shave, I use cortizone cream after, it helps a little with the irritation. I just shaved this weekend and I used a product called Coochy that I got for Pure Romance that are similar to "passion parties." http://ww2.pureromance.com/PUBLICSTORE/product/Coochy,262,1.aspx

It is a shaving cream for your sensitive areas and it actually worked really well! I don't have any irritation!

Those are my tips. Hope they help!

God, this is one of my pet hates too! I used to shave when I was a bit younger, but now I either use dilapatory cream, or I epilate (which, by the way, does hurt at first, but you get used to it!) I ALWAYS get ingrown hairs on my bikini line, and I force them out with a needle (typical sewing needle for instance). I've got horrible little scars everywhere because of them, and red blotchy patches, it makes me really self conscious. There is this balm you can use to help, Ive been given it, but not tried it as my sister used it and said it didn't work. Will let you know if/when I try it! Can't remember what it's called right now though...

exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! There is a wash made from St. Ives its a apricot scrub the main ingredient is salicylic acid which is found in acne medicines. It does help a lot! I have to exfoliate with this cream everyday, try using a exfoliating pad when you use this. Also hot baths, and hot compresses daily will help raise the hair. I have suffered from these little devils for many years. I still do but this is the only way for me that seems to have helped calm it down.
