I have just been hired at Hollister as a member of the part time impact team. I have been googling and searching around to some tips about what you do and how to do your job the best, and a lot of people say they hire the unattractive people for this position. That kind of hurt and took a blow to myself seeing so many people say that. Do you really think they put me on part time impact because I look unattractive? And am I just being paranoid? I know I will work my hardest for them no matter what because that is what I believe in, but still wondering.

I have a friend that works there and she said they only hire attractive people and she saw someone get turned down because of it.

lol no. i worked there and the impactors were fine looking. i was a model. i would have rather been an impactor, and at hollister, fairlane(which sucks) you can switch if you just thell the managers.

Honestly, I never find anyone working in the stores at Hollister, American Eagle, and Apro, are never really attractive. Who cares what other people think, it's all about you. What does the impact team do anyway?

the impact team works mostly in the back room getting usrs folding tagging and bringing products out to the floor

well in my opinion they really only hire people who are attractive! so take it as a compliment! they want attractive people working there so the consumers see them and think if they wear their clothes they'll look like them too.

thanks! :) thats kinda sad to think about though that our society is based on looking like the same beautiful people instead of recognizing the beauty of a unique beauty in every different person :(

You are pretty so ignore it. Besides, people who say that probably are, being stupid, jealous, or just have different opinions on what is beautiful themselves, plus they themselves could be ugly and just be angry about it.
