I leave for college next week. For any of you who are in school or have already graduated, what are the things I can't leave home without or that I should purchase before I go? I guess the things that only someone who's already been there would be able to suggest because I feel like I'm going to get there and not have something essential. Thanks so much!

My 2 BIGGEST must haves would be:
Croc pot. 100% couldn't live without it
Shower shoes. Your savior if you have a community shower
Bring microwavable food. I can't stress how nice it is waking up on a weekend and popping something in rather than eating the reused food they throw together on weekends (at least that's what they did on my campus).
But overall, it's not so much about what you absolutely will need so much as realizing how much you don't need. Sharing a cramped living space with another person makes you realize how much of the stuff that you swore was essential really isn't. Like that cute dress you just love? Probably will just take up space in your microscopic closet. Or that necklace that looks just perfect with that shirt? You'll forget you even brought it. Let's just say you realize really quickly what you won't use once you're there.
