So, it's embarrassing to talk about, but I have some stretch marks... I don't know what to do about them. Is there any cream or anything I can use to get rid of thm?

bio-oils ...can get it from your chemist i think :)
not embarassing, a ton of people do. I do too, but I just have big hips :)
i have them too and my hips are 10 inches bigger than my waist i just moisturise daily and use bio oils and theyre alot better now
Cocoa butter is great for stretch marks.
i would say bio oil is the best for any scaring, stretch marks, even good for your completion if you sleep with it on you wake (wash) and glow!!
Doesnt nearly every female get them? Mostly from the growth spurt you get as a teenager. Bio oil and moisturiser is best, if you become pregnant start using it everyday to prevent them, thats easier than trying to get rid of them after they show up. Also, use those exfoliating gloves in the shower, it stimulates repair in the muscle or whatever. Lol. =]
i'm trying palmer's skin therapy oil, i heard it works, just waiting the 6 weeks to see the results!
i think the scar serum is more expensive but more efficentive? not sure, you should browse around the website http://www.etbrowne.com/products/Category.aspx?CategoryID=1
i feel your pain sista!
my mom gives me mederma. you just rub a lil on your stretch marks every night and pretty soon they fade :)
if you're in your teens or early 20s, they'll fade by themselves anyway. no need to worry.
if you're nottt, i suggest the mederma.
or if you have a big problemo with your stretchmarks and you're a teen or whatever, use mederma too.
i use cocoa butter & bio oil :)
I have stretch marks, too. On my hips and upper thighs. I've been looking for some remedies as well. But they're very very common among women so don't feel embarrassed by them!!!
i have stretch marks too!!!! on my upper thighs. i used to think it was coz i got fat. but it was coz i grew xD
any ways. i use palmers coco butter. i think they are fading extremely slowly...
meee 2! i use the same stuff and it doesnt seem like its getting better anymore...
I know how you feel. I've got them too. I got sick a while ago and lost weight that's what caused mine. But it's no biggie, really :)
coco butter/ vitamin e
bio oil is amazing wd recommend it, is pricey but worth it.
I've got stretch marks, too. I used to be so embarrassed by them, but I realized that there's nothing I can do now. I've heard you can use certain lotions and oils to help lighten them up, but they never really go away. I don't really care either way. They're apart of me and they always have been. I was a big girl when I was younger, so when I hit puberty, I guess the stretch marks were part of the package.
I'm very young and I have stretch marks. I'm pretty sure they're a natural part of every woman's body, so don't be embarassed. Cocoa Butter has always worked wonders for me. I applied it every day and within two or three weeks the marks began to fade. :)
I'm on the same boat. I guess while growing up, my butt grew a bit faster than the rest of my body, so I do have issues wearing a bikini, and I did try Bio-oil for a while and it did not work.
Cocoa butter and regular moisturizes really do do the trick, tho. I've also experimented with lightning creams on my skin, but it was not very helpful. :/ *(Doesn't really make a difference but make your skin lighter, NOT the lines themselves)
You know what-- I say just EMBRACE THEM. Do not act too intimidated with the lines.
And DEFINITELY do NOT worry about boys. Guys will like you for you (and your natural figure itself, rather than its details). If you do feel like you need to hide it, that's alright, it's in your comfort zone, otherwise, I do not see why you should go "all out" on hiding your body for concerns of insecurities.
I know it sounds like I'm repeating a lot of the stuff, but I'm just throwing out advice!
Good luck, time will pass, and concerns will move onto other things! ;)
I have the same issue as you Kim ^.^ I have had good results with cocoa butter.. by far the most results too. so that's what i would suggests. that and for some reason.. excersizing.... walking in particular. I used to weigh about 180 and my stretch marks were most of the time almost abright purple color it was so embarassing when I went out. but in this last year I'velost almost 35 lbs now to date... after a lot of walking... and I have to say there is a significant difference in my marks... they are more skin colored now...maybe even a bit white... but certainly not purple... they may not be gone but they are sure a lot more likeable now.!!!
I also agre that you should really take time to accept your body stretch marks and all... they are certainly not something tobe ashamed or or embarassed about. they're part of you. :) then you will notice the difference even more whn they fade. :)
