I've done the research, and dancing is great cardio as well as super fun. I'm going to start dancing to at least one full song on my ipod every morning before school every day (even though I have no idea how to dance and my mom is in the room across from me). Will anyone join me in this random, but potentially very fun, quest for cardio?

Im totally in! Before i moved in with my boyfriend i use to lock myself in my room for hours and just dance away!
Now when hes home i lock the bathroom door and dance around in my shower. but thats not much cardio, but when he runs off to work, i move the furniture and create my stage!!!! (what he doesnt know wont hurt him...or embarrass me haha) glad im not the only one who enjoys the silly workouts
I never thought of doing this. That's pretty cool way. Here's a little suggestion: how about trying to add a song every day so eventually you'll get up to 20 minutes which is considered a full workout. This is a great way to work out.

Well, I started the day after I posted this, so it really hasn't been very long. Also I don't have a scale, but I can tell it's starting to work.
you can also try belly dance half an hour everyday it will give you a sexy waist

haha this is an awesome idea but you need to be doing 20 minutes straight activity to get any cardiovasclular benifits so i like the idea of adding songs until you reach the 20 minute mark
haha i should get some friends together and do this in my breaks at uni :P

check out a zumba class in your area... it's basically a dance party... lasts an hour and if you do it with at least 75% intensity as the instructor you'll sweat :) www.zumba.com to find a class in your area
