I go to an all-women's college, so my dating life is very limited. I don't drink and am not really a party girl. Instead, I perfer to get all my work done, and with no car, I really can't go anywhere but downtown. My parents really don't approve of online dating and I was raised very conservatively, so how can I meet guys?

Try getting involved in activities related to your interests -- not only can you meet people there, but you'll already have that in common with them! :)

I also think that going to coffee shops to do homework, as someone else mentioned, is a good idea. If you're interested then try something like swing dance also. It's a lot of fun and is becoming somewhat popular again, so there are quite a few guys at the dances.

Also try looking at the websites (or facebook pages) of other local colleges to find out what sort of events are going on at nearby colleges. Try going to some of those -- they'll often also welcome folks who don't go to that college, especially since you're still a student somewhere else.

I also go to a women's college. If there is a mostly guy's or all guy's college nearby, ask some of your friends if they have friends who attend it. Go with them when they go to visit them, cause they might have friends who you might just click with. Or again on the whole nearby guys school thing, maybe your hall will do some things with a hall at the guys school.Mine is doing a "Thanksgiving Dinner" this Teusday with our guy neighbors. You can suggest that? Or something like it?

Try doing homework at coffee shops. I tend to meet tons of people there. Or you could try joining an off campus club or charity. This could lead you to meeting new people. And do not discount the other women at your school. These girls guaranteed have guy friends out there. So try making some friends and then meeting their guy friends from other schools. Plus it's also a no pressure situation. It's just hanging out. And there are always other people out there who do not want to just party. You'll find more people like yourself. Just keep looking around!

I hadn't thought of this. I know some cute guys at the ice cream shop and coffee shops. Might as well try that. :)

I actually work at the library, and...well, let's just say some of the guys there are creepy. Like, "carry pepper spray" creepy.
