Thanks for the reply. That does help a lot and I recently found out that he does talk to his family about me though it was only around his birthday that this became prominent! Your situation is similar to my own, where we only spend an evening possibly 2 if were lucky a week together due to busy schedules. I think I'm just going to leave it to ride its own course. The last thing I want to do is push him into something he's not ready for yet and have that set the course of future developments. My mother always told me that if you want something from a guy you have to make him think it was his great idea...maybe I could use this advice now...hmmm.

I am in the same boat! I've been with my boyfriend for 6 almost 7months, he's met some of my friends at birthday parties of my friends, etc that I invited him to. He hasn't met my family although my parents want to meet him at this point. I haven't met his friends or family although his family lives in Canada and we are in NY. He is Canadian so I think his closest friends are there but because he moved around a lot when he was younger he does have some friends relatively close by and I haven't met any of them. I've mentioned in passing that I would like to meet them and I think I'll say it again this weekend when I see him. Part of our problem (I think unless I'm just making excuses for us and lying to myself) is that we only see each other once a week due to our schedules so it's nice to spend time with just each other on the one day we can.

I would def ask him to meet his friends at least. I hope things work out for you!
