You could always go the route of the classic cocktail dress. The key to dressing to impress is class and quality. You don't necessarily have to spend a ton, but make sure you get good pieces. I suggest you wear something sexy n a bit revealing not too much.You could wear a dress and some strappy sandals or boots would look nice. :)

Dress to impress means don't wear ripped or torn jeans or baggy pants, or hoodies, no shirts with pictures/words on them. Wear whatever you feel good in, even skinny jeans and a nice top or a cute dress. Have fun!

I think you can't go wrong with a nice party dress and some really nice heels. Make sure the dress shows your best asset, but not too revealing.
