Question: What are some good dating websites for...

I met a guy on plenty of fish who turned out to be really awesome, he just wasn't particularly interested in me after like 3 dates. It was kind of a bummer, but he was cool, so I know it's possible to meet people you like on the site.

I asked this question awhile back and got OKCupid and Plenty of Fish as suggestions for free sites (since you are in college like me, I'm assuming you are just as broke and not really willing to dish out the cash for a site). I like the style of OKC better but kept them both. I went on 2 dates with one guy I met of off PoF and I guess got realllly lucky because he's such an awesome guy and we click really well like we've known each other forever. I talk to 2 other guys but I'm not as interested in them and I've become bored with the websites so I haven't bothered to look for anyone else.

As far as the safety element, use your best judgement! Don't put anything too personal up like where you live or your phone number, I wouldn't even put your Facebook up. If you don't feel comfortable meeting with someone then don't! And I suggest meeting in a public place in an area that you are familiar with. One of the first guys I started talking to lived in CT while I live in NY and he wanted me to take a train over there, so he can pick me up with his car and we could go out to dinner...this screamed of a bad idea to me and he refused to meet me in NY so that ended that!
