Why do I get horny when I'm PMSing? Does this happen to other girls as well? And is there anything I can do about it?

Lol it's basically happening to me right now.. It's weird.. I was randomly looking through some -I forgot what they're called.. But it advertises stores..
Anyway, I saw some condoms on one paper.. And thought "Oh, I might need those. I should buy some sometime."
I wouldn't normally buy it because well I'm not in any sort of relationship.. Actually, I haven't even been in a relationship..

this doesnt happen to me (altho im not very normal) but it happens to lots of other people so technically its normal and it happens because of the hormones

I get that as well, every month...

Coming from a psychology/scientific point of view, some would argue that it is the body's way of trying to get us pregnant. Also, our hormone levels change, there is an imbalance and the testosterone (the hormone which influences aggression and sex drive) is heightened, so you feel more horny. Furthermore, the oestrogen levels are quite high (making your hair and skin look its best) and makes you feel a whole lot more confident and, well... horny.

I hope that helps! :|

Yup! happens to me, and that's when I really have the best (toe curling) sex (with my husband of course). you can take birth control, but I'd be weary of artificial hormones, they have been known to make you feel an attraction to someone you normally wouldn't be if your hormones were all natural. Or If you're in a sexually active relationship, just have sex!

I've noticed that too - it's just because of the rush of hormones, I would think.
