What do you do when your skill sets are not necessarily in line with your secret dream job? What do you do? Do you go ahead and do what you are great at because you know you can succeed, or do you go for the secret passion...the one where you may not be great at and maybe your friends and family don't even know its what you want to do...and risk failing miserably??? What would you do...go for the guaranteed money and safe, reliable job, ...or go for the job that may never yield good payouts?

the more money you make the more you spend...so its not about the money. If you are going to school for it and everything it might as well be something you enjoy and want to do every day. It really sucks working at a job only for money and daydreaming about what you REALLY wish to do. If you have the opportunity to chase your dream job DO IT and don't look back. and consider yourself lucky because some of us don't have a chance to choose.

My mother told me to always go with what makes you happy. You're going to be living with that career for awhile at least, and it will come home with you, so don't make it something you hate.

so long as the job doesnt make you too miserable, the money can let you do the things that make you happy!

I'd rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable. I'd love to be able to get a job I love, that I would be happy going to work everyday and not make a lot of money than a job which has huge pay outs but is mind numbing and soul sucking, where getting up everyday is a struggle and you don't want to even go in.

I gave up a job as a lawyer to do what I really love. Even though now I make less money and it meant going back to school to study I love what I do I love my job the people etc the only person who supported my choice was my boyfriend... he said to follow my heart, to do what makes me happy and not to worry about anyone else's opinion.. so I did. And I've never looked back. You only live once and money is well money do something your passionate about and that's going to fulfill your life! Good luck!~
