Question: I'm getting a perm soon. Any advice...

When i got a perm, i looked like a poodle and got made fun of at school

Don't worry guys, it turned out great! Jennifers body is right though, I do look a little like a poodle lol. I love it though, and my friends have been calling me Taylor(Swift).

Wait 2 days before even thinking about wetting your hair. if you've never had a perm before, go for a looser wrap, or you could risk looking like a poodle. see an experianced stylist for a consultation before committing to anything drastic like perming or dramatic color changes.

dont go to a beauty school if you have really long hair, they dont know what to do. i told them to do really big curls and they made it look crimpy and it only lasted 3 months, ive gottem perms before and theyv'e lasted about a year

Make sure you wait the recommended time to wet and wash your hair, wait awhile before you straighten it, I prefer moose instead of get but you will have to play with different products to find what works best for you.

Also, the first couple of days your perm might have a mind of its own...but it should relax.
