Are there any health benefits or drawbacks from shaving your pubic area? I’ve been taking a very unofficial survey from the guys (and girls) I know as to what their preference is: shaved or not shaved? It’s actually fairly even – some like it shaved, some like it bushy, others don’t really care either direction. What do you think?

I shave as well and it only itches after it grows back, but I've never cut myself down there, but I'll tell you to be careful cause it's not like shaving your legs. And I've tried waxing it and it hurts like HELL, but that all depends on your pain threshold. I can't take waxing, so I shave. I'd say give it a try and if you don't like it, don't do it. And yes, most guys do prefer a smooth underneath girl, but when I first started dating my boyfriend I didn't shave cause I didn't even think about it and he was fine with it. He prefers it when I shave, but sometimes I don't feel like it, and he accepts it and me and doesn't treat me differently.

haha, personally, the guys ive met prefer it shaved, and ive never had any problems doing so.
sure, it grows fairly quick and its a bit of time & effort to maintain, but not too bad.

ive never had a problem wit itch or ingrown hairs, just make sure your razors sharp and you moisturise after :)

I shave and I don't get itchy. You need a decent razor, though, or else you will knick yourself or pull at the hairs.

i shave, as mentioned above it does get itchy after a couple of days but i just deal and Ive never cut myself shaving there, i do get ingrown hairs- at least that's what i think they are, its just a few raised bumps that sort of look like a pimple. Ive never waxed although i do want to i just don't have the money to be doing that so shaving is much cheaper, just make sure the blade isn't dull! when i was seeing my ex i would shave like once a week which i don't think is really necessary, men can deal with a couple of weeks of growth lol its not terrible and i dont mind it

DON'T SHAVE IT! is very bad! if you don;t want any hair there : WAX is the better option, and it is not so painfull as it is said, if you shave it, you will provably cut you skin, is a really sensitive part! and in two or three days you will have hair again! and it itch A LOT, is very unconfprtable. and in the other hand, the wax last at least two weeks :P and shave yourself is not so,,realiable,,as go waxing with a woman that know what is doing!

HOPE IT HELP!
