I have blackheads on my nose and really badly around the sides of my nose. I've tried clay masks, the steel extractor tool, and even the nose strips (which are annoying because they don't cover the entire area where my blackheads are). Can anyone recommend a good product for clearing blackheads?? I'd obviously prefer something I can get at the drugstore but I'm open to paying more for good results. I have combination skin, slightly oily. THANKS!

Actually Michelle Phan on youtube has a great video for a homemade mask that helps! You use one tablespoon milk (any kind!), and one tablespoon unflavred gelatin. Pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds. But make sure to stir it first! Here is a link to the video, it gives you the instructions. IT WORKS WONDERS!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bjOB4zS0uE

my teacher taught me to gently scrub/exfoliate the areas with a gentle facewash with small beads and rub on the areas with blackheads longer than other parts. she says the needle thing and nose strips dont work in the long term. they just clear it for a short time but make ur pores bigger and bh come back bigger

Just wash your face with hot soapy water in the morning rinsing off with cold water. The heat open the pores for the soap to clean and then the cold closes them again afterwards. It does actually work pretty well. You should see a change in about 1-2 weeks. Dove soap is pretty good because it isn't as harsh on the skin as others can be and it has a slight mostiourising effect.

after cleansing splash your face with cold water then dab (a small amount!!) perfume on the area.. perfume is an astringent so it'll clamp your pores shut stopping them from reinfecting :)

Hand sanatizer works, I don't know how, but it does. Do it in the morning, like right after you wake up. You won't see results automatically, but after about 1 week to 2 weeks, you'll see them begin to dissapear. Trust me, I HAD the same problem. GOOD LUCK!
