So girls, I'm in a great relationship with this guy. We've been seeing each other for several months and it's pretty serious. He is so cute and we are really good together, but our exams are over and we won't see eachother during our summer vacations. Both of us are working and have very little free money to take trips to see each other. I obviously don't want to end things, but I've never been in a long distance relationship before and I don't know how to make it work.

Obviously we'll still call and text, but how do I keep him interested? Or trust that he's not messing around? What should I do? Thank you :) xoxo

hello :) you know what it's very important to trust each other,not only you but also him.and understand each other, if one of you have bad mood, the other one shouldn't be the same..
I'm in a long distance relationship with my Irish bf.. i live in Philippines and my boyfriend lives in Ireland UK .. imagine how far it is? but we still keep everyday with something nice to talk too :) , sending pictures for him.. :) etc. We always chat online to keep updated in whats happening to us.. you know if the guy love's you u should stop worrying.. i had a difficulty before with that but as time goes by and we've already talk about those things about trusting each other.. i felt fine now and nothing to worry about.
he visit me yearly when he have off work and i have semester break at school cause he is already working and i'm still studying..But im patiently waiting to be with him when everything is already okei :)

Telling whats happening with you everyday will simply make him smile and telling him everyday how much you love him will brighten up his day :)

My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 3 years. I trust him just as much as he trusts me. He visits me every now and again, which is really sweet as I don't have much money right now. I know that being in a relationship and THEN going to a long distance relationship will be tough because you are so used to the other person being there. All I can say, is... the time apart will give you things to talk about when you both get back from your vacations. I also suggest skype or some other video messaging service because it helps.

My boyfriend and I use it all the time. We make special time to sit and talk to each other when he can't visit. It is hard as hell to let someone go because I have to watch him leave every time he visits, so I know the pain. Trust, I know is hard for many people, it should be hard for me because of what I have been through but... I really love him. He means a lot to me and I know I mean the same to him. So trust for us seems natural. Discuss the worry over the long distance with your boyfriend. Talk about options that you have like Skype, phone calls, email texting. Keeping in touch and remind your selves that you care for each other alot. That is the only advice I can give. I hope it helps.
