So I've been dating my boyfriend for a year now and I don't know why, I just kinda had this feeling he was lying about somethings. So the other day he left his phone out and I just quickly looked through the messages. I didnt read any of them because I got the sickest feeling after seeing that he had been texting his ex. His ex who he has always claimed he hates and can't stand and told me multiple times that they never talk.

So now I don't even know what to do. I mean I went through his phone and invaded his privacy, but then again I found something that made me literally want to puke. What do I do? :/

ok so Imo the one that posted this i just want to update everyone who commented i did talk to him about it... he wasnt mad he felt bad that he made me even feel suspicions. well turns out he sent her a picture of some harry potter picture, we worked through it and i mean yea he was wrong in it but turns out it was harmless and i told him that it would take a while for me to you know feel 100% better. thanks for the help

Leave him. NOT because he's talking to his ex, but because it's blatantly obvious you don't trust him. If you don't trust him, you have no business being with him. A relationship needs trust.

i would tell him that u went through his phone (if he really loved u he wouldnt care), and then ask about his ex and why he is texting her. i mean he needs to be honest with u, if he doesnt feel the same way he should say it

Well, he made you feel suspicious in the first place.... It's not like you can let this slide. Especially if he told you he never talks to her.
