limit the amount of heat you put on your hair. & when you do use blow dryers, flat&curling iron turn to low/medium heat.

also trimming the ends of your hair on a regular 4-6 week basis helps.

hair that has not been treated with heat or chemicals is called virgin hair in the beauty world.. its very rare these days.. most every female owns a curling iron or flat iron.. i have one of each.. a blow dryer is also in that list..

as i said before.. you can only recomend products and treatments for someone if you know what their hair is like..

thats not really right.. you may not want to wash everyday if you have dry hair.. or even normal hair.. thats really only for oily hair..

also if you have oily hair. you dont need a lot of conditioners.. a light conditioner. or just on the ends.. keep it off your scalp.. .. you dont want to add more oil to your hair..

if you have chemically treated hair.. you can use a stronger conditioner.. or maybe use a condtioning treatment....

with out knowing what type of hair a person has you cant really recomend this kind of advise

natural natural natural. use all natural products AS MUCH as possible. chemicals just ruin your hair! it may cost more, but it wont in the long run, youll use less because your hair will become so healthy! get your hair done at a very recommended salon, so many girls i know go to cheap places and wonder why there hair looks awful. If you find a hair dresser you like, go back to her, always. she ll learn your hair type, and what you like!
One product i really reccomend for any hair type, is ojon restorative treatment. its about 60 bucks from sephora, but i have found it for 40 or so on ebay! you may think its really expensive, but you need so little, and youll only need to use it 3 or 4 times and your hair will be healthy, so you will use it less. try the sample size first if your hesitant, but i promise its the BEST product ive ever used.

WHAT KIND OF HAIR DO YOU HAVE??? none of this matters unless we know what hair you have. each type if hair is different and is kept healthy different. these are all great tips, i'm not trying to take away from that. its just that not all hair is the same.

Best products on the planet - Living Proof No Frizz line. They have products for straightening and wavy hair types. I am African American and I live in a very humid area and this line keeps my hair straight or curly no matter what.

If there is a Sephora in your area, you can get them there or check out their website.

PS: I am not a representative of their company. I just spend a great deal of my time looking for products that tame my hair.

yes, i do agree with the bit about the expensive products. i actually go to a place called Sally Beauty (a hair, cosmetics, etc. shop) and you can get generic versions of salon product for a MUCH reduced fraction of the price! and there is no difference between the generic and salon products, they just go by a different name. i got a 1 liter bottle of generic Paul Mitchell special tea tree shampoo for just $9.99, not including the discount. they have discount cards you can buy for $5, that take an entire 25% off every purchase you use it on for the entire year that it's good for. No, washing should also be kept to a minimum so that natural oils can come out.
