The clip, posted to YouTube by LifeofDad, shows men "from around the world" singing "I want to be where the people are" while they do construction work, use lab equipment, give a fellow dad a haircut or make pancakes at home.

These guys aren’t your typical “Little Mermaid” fans, but, as the video’s opening states, “No matter who you are... Becoming a dad changes everything."

While the performances are far from pitch-perfect, they more than get their point across and might still leave you a little choked up.

Here are some more quotes from real-life Dads on How Having Daughters Have Changed Them (via Reddit) Prepare yourself to say “AWW” a few more times.

“I don't care how badass a person thinks they are. If a little girl pours you an imaginary cup of tea, you drink it, with your pinky in the air, dammit.”– _paralyzed_

“I can say I've always had respect for women. However, after seeing what my wife went through to have our daughter I can safely say my respect went up at least a hundred thousand times for all women everywhere.”– vednar

“I'm a fairly large guy that did some body building & MMA for a little over the last decade. I ride a blacked-out Harley & have worked in construction most of my adult life. Now I play with pink teddy bears & dolls. I can't help but look at every woman as some guys' little girl.”– itsokimaplumber

“I've only cried a few times before I had my daughter (family death, etc). After having her my emotions tend to run easily. I cry at certain movies. We were both tearing up while watching "The Lion King." – patriotboy43

“My daughter is a human being. Soon (sooner than I'd like), she's going to be a human teenager. And that means she'll be experimenting with things outside of her everyday experience. Probably she'll try drinking, probably she'll try drugs, maybe she'll try smoking. And she'll almost definitely have sex before I think she'll be ready. And yet, these are normal things, things almost everybody goes through. If I had a son, would these things bother me? I thought not, and I told myself that was bullsh*t. If it's OK for a son to do it, it's OK for my daughter.”– GaijinSama

“It made me more aware of how many female characters in movies/TV are defined by their relationships to men. I'm still working out how to raise a strong and smart young woman who lives the life she wants and welcomes the right partner at the right time [rather than a princess sitting on her hands (keep it clean, folks) passively waiting for some prince].”– redCent

Our Verdict: AWW!

We love the “Part of Your World” video and think it’s so great all those Dads were willing to embarrass themselves a little for the sake of doing something we know their daughters love. Plus, all those extra quotes from Reddit were so sweet. Excuse us while we go give our fathers a big hug.
